Details are now available on First Fleeter Peter Hibbs Descendants reunion and other First Fleeters tour of Norfolk Island to also commemorate the 225th anniversary of the sinking of the HMS Sirius at the Island on March 19 1790. It was on Norfolk Island that Peter Hibbs met and married Lady Juliana Second Fleet convict Mary Pardoe, and where he received a land grant in 1796 – see No.54 at this link.

Peter Hibbs descendant and South Coast Chapter of the Fellowship of First Fleeters member Robyn Stanford is organizing the Peter Hibbs Descendants Reunion in conjunction with the Norfolk Island Travel Centre – 13 – 20 March 2015 ex Sydney and 14-21 March 2015 ex Brisbane.
